People Incorporated Awarded $14 Million

Abingdon, Va.- People Incorporated of Virginia has been awarded $14 million to fund high-impact community development projects. 

The U.S. Treasury award of New Market Tax Credits will enable the non-profit to help finance high-impact projects in communities with high poverty and unemployment.

Don Mathis on C-SPAN Washington Journal

Don Mathis, President and CEO of the Community Action Partnership was a guest on Washington Journal on Wednesday, February 9, 2011.  Mathis spoke about Community Services Block Grants, which gives federal dollars to communities to provide a range of services.
